Housekeeper

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Ledges is seeking full time and part time housekeepers to help provide support to the mission of The Ledges. The Housekeeping Department is an integral part of delivering a quality experience to our members and guests. The Housekeeper is entrusted to work independently and with other housekeeping team members to provide efficient and professional cleaning and environmental services to all assigned facilities.

The Housekeeper provides cleaning services daily to all Club facilities including the Clubhouse, Exercise Room, Pool Area, Locker Rooms, and Golf Course Comfort Stations. Detailed, thorough work is important to ensure quality, cleanliness, and sanitary conditions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • The position will entail high quality results in scrubbing, sweeping, mopping floors, dusting and arranging furniture, cleaning windows, laundry, vacuuming, emptying trash containers, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining fixtures and accessories throughout the facilities
  • Washes, dries, and folds towels and linen
  • Ensure buildings, common areas, and restrooms are properly cleaned and in good working condition, reporting minor repairs to management and maintenance
  • Provide high quality customer service to Members and their guests with a sense of urgency and responsiveness.
  • Maintain a positive attitude with strong respect for team, employees, Members, and Club property and assets
  • Ensures appropriate and adequate supplies and equipment are available for work assignments
  • Conducts inventory and advises supervisor of needed supplies
Education and Work Experience Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1-3 years’ work experience in residential housekeeping/cleaning, industrial, office, or environmental services cleaning function
General Requirements:
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisor, team members, and Club members
  • Some physical labor including ability to stand, crouch, lift, reach, fold, stoop, mop, and climb to perform routine cleaning and housekeeping tasks. May be standing and walking for long periods
  • Exposed to both indoor and outdoor work environments
  • Must handle various cleaning solvents and chemicals and comply with all regulations such as OSHA, EPA, State Health Department, etc.
  • Working knowledge of cleaning standards and techniques
  • Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays

Locker Room Attendant

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Ledges is currently seeking qualified candidates for a full or part-time Men's Locker Room Attendant who will be responsible for providing exemplary service to our members and guests. As a Men's Locker Room Attendant, your daily work functions will include: greeting our members and guests upon entering the locker room, golf shoe cleaning and re-spiking, dress shoe polishing, organization/refreshing of toiletries and towels, maintaining the overall cleanliness of the locker room and other locations on the property, as well as other assigned duties. The Men's Locker Room Attendant should also be knowledgeable of club services, features, upcoming events and specials.

Qualifications:
We are seeking professional candidates with a strong work ethic, ability to work in a team, and an engaging personality. Applicants should have excellent communication skills with which to maintain and build relationships with the members of the Club. A high school or equivalent education is required and experience in a related hospitality environment is preferred. The ability to be on your feet for long periods of time is necessary.

Wage and Benefits:
  • Competitive Base Pay: Hourly rate between $10.00 - $14.00
  • Overtime: Overtime is available but not guaranteed
  • Bonus: Receive a $500.00 employment bonus after 90 days of service, annual Christmas Bonus and Performance Bonuses.
  • Health Insurance: Full time employees have a choice of two insurance plans for their health care needs. The Ledges will pay from 50% to 100% of the employee premium depending on the plan you choose

Golf Services Attendant

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Ledges is seeking Golf Services Attendants (GSA) to join our Golf Operations (Outside) staff. Golf Services Attendants have the role of greeting our members and guests as they arrive to the club for golf. GSAs also assist with curb side bag drop service, coordination and communication of cart assignment, loading and unloading golf bags to carts, range set up, club cleaning and bag storage.

Essential Functions:
  • Provide all Members and Guests with excellent, friendly service
  • Treat all members, guest and employees with respect
  • Work with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm
  • Ensure that carts are clean, operating properly, and are equipped with towels, pencils, scorecards, tees, sand/seed mix bottles, ice, and water
  • Performs valet duties in the bag drop area including:
  • Greeting and interacting with members and guests
  • Removing golf bags from vehicles
  • Providing information, directions and assistance
  • Transport golf bags from the bag drop area/bag storage room and load onto assigned carts
  • Greet golfers returning from the course:
  • Clean golf clubs
  • Unload golf clubs from carts
  • Assist with loading golf clubs into vehicles or returning to the bag storage room
  • Return carts to the cart storage area
  • Remove all trash and supplies from carts
  • Wash carts
  • Park and charge carts
  • Practice facility set up
  • Perform other duties as required

Knowledge and Skills
Successful candidates will have a professional demeanor and appearance, strong work ethic, team player and the ability to provide a high level of service to our members and guests. A working knowledge of Golf Operations or the game of Golf is preferred but not required. The Ledges is seeking a skilled Food Expeditor to join our team. As the Food Expeditor, you will serve as the voice of communication between the front of the house and the back of the house staffs. You will be responsible for coordination and consolidation of all outgoing food items from the kitchen assuring high standards of plate presentation and food quality.
